Well seeing as that most of my moods are a perfect reflection of the music I was listening to at the time, I have compiled a list moods and music that corresponds to it, so here it goes:

First and most important when I’m Down:

When I’m down which is most of the time these days (the doctors call it circumstantial depression … I guess it means that circumstances are causing it) I like to listen the following bands:
-Pelican City- my fav band of all time, these guys could get me through anything… it is an instrumental kinda trip hop.. my 2 fav songs of there’s would be ‘the borello’ and ‘Sesame Street’- [link]
-Portis Head- these guys are awesome, I have grown up listening to these guys, and mellowing out to there bassy rhythms- [link]
-Sigur Ros- this band is very new to me but I was told and quote ‘jónsi often uses a cello bow to play his guitar, resulting in an effects-laden, atmospheric, totally unique sound.’ It is sooo relaxing. It is actually what I was listening to while viewing distributed’s masterpieces (maybe this is why I was so relaxed and made happier by them ) actually a definite must, I challenge you all to listen to ‘Njosnavelin (Nothing Song)’ or ‘olsen olsen’ and look at her pics…really is quite am experiance - [link]
-Jeff Buckley- well that goes with out saying I guess …and if you don’t know who Jeff Buckley is go here straight away - [link] and go and download ‘halleluiah’
-The Cranberries- and oldie but goody, I enjoy no ‘no need to argue “the most- [link]

When I’m happy I usually don’t just listen to music to make me happier, I listen to music to amp me up. so here is music to amp me up:

-Inflames- now this band is up there with the gods of “amperage” (meaning get your blood pumping) my fav song is the ‘dialogue with the stars’ I mean has got to be the best ‘lets go for a skate’ song - [link]

- RJD2- Very different music… defiantly a must listen to at least once in your life…if not your just missing out.. - [link]
-Muse- ok …ok… this band is soo kick ass I am afraid ill underrate it… fave songs would have to be ‘bliss’ but every one is so good.. - [link]

Lastly I couldn’t be bothered categorising the rest so ill just put them in
-Snow patrol- great band and good listening… one song in particular is ‘run’ a very sad song that helped me get through a very bad time - [link]
-Rob Dougan- another one I wont say to much about coz I’m crazy in love with his music.. ‘clubbed to death’ and ‘furious angels’ are keepers- [link]
-lots of sound tracks : Donnie Darko, Crash, Sin city, Amélie, etc, so many more
- HIM- very cool, ‘Solitary Man’ and “the Sacrament” are me favs.. [link]
